The Melbourne Cup festivities this year will occur on Tuesday 1st November. It will include full banquet lunch and drinks (beer, wine and bubbles) for 2 hours. Best to book soonish because we have very little space left!

As you may or may not know, the Sydney Craft Beer Week will be running from the 22nd until the 29th of October. For our part, we will be featuring all Sydney brewed beers and ciders on tap on Sunday the 23rd of October. Also, we will have a special menu for the day with every dish using only locally sourced produce. Finally, a few local acts will be playing all originals throughout the afternoon. It’s a casual affair so feel free to drop in anytime!

We will be open this coming public holiday Monday from 5pm.

The much anticipated IPA from Badland’s has hit the taps and is proving to be very popular! It’s been one of our fastest selling beer specials and is the perfect late Autumn – early Winter drop. It has a little fruit hops on the nose, a nice and juicy malt middle and a reasonable amount of hop bitterness at the end which leads to a pretty lengthy pallet. All in all, it’s been going down a treat on the milder winter evenings.

On the food specials board this week are an old favourite the baby burritos! They’ll be about all this week and then will, once more, make a tactical exit.

We will be closed on Good Friday (Friday 22nd April) and will reopen on Easter Saturday at 5pm (Saturday 23rd April) annd will trade as normal through the rest of the Easter and ANZAC Day period.
